"Kacha Golla" means sweet cottage cheese balls. This authentic sweetmeat originated in eastern India. I made the easier and faster recipe for this traditional sweet. This is a 30 minutes recipe.

As easy 30 minutes Kacha Golla Recipe for your special occasions

Prep time: 20 mins Cook time: 10 mins Total time: 30 mins Serves: 10

INGREDIENTS :

Paneer 300 gms

Sugar 2 tbsp

Condensed Milk 4 tbsp

Milk Powder 2 tbsp

Pistachio (powdered) 1 tbsp

PREPARATION :

In a place grate the paneer and divide it into two equal portions.

Take about half the amount of paneer, add sugar and knead for 10 minutes.

Transfer the kneaded paneer to a pan and cook for 4 minutes on low heat.

Pour condensed milk and cook for 6-8 minutes until water evaporates.

Mix the cooked paneer with the uncooked paneer using your hand.

Knead well then make small ball size or size of your choice.

Coat well with milk powder and garnish with pistachio powder.

Ready to serve😊

Note :

I made small size balls so I got 10 pieces if you wish to make big size than you might have fewer KACHA GOLLA.

I took readymade paneer but if you want you can make paneer/ channa at home by boiling 2 liters of milk, then turn off the heat and add vinegar-water mix (4 tbsp each of vinegar and water), drain out the liquid using a muslin cloth, squeeze out any excess liquid from the channa/paneer.

Now you can follow from dividing the paneer into equal proportion and continue the steps give above.
